Terms and Conditions Our disco events require both parties(the client and dsn Entertainment) to safe guard each other. This is done via a booking form and the terms and conditions shown on this page. 1. When required a 25% deposit must be paid no later than 14 days after receiving the booking confirmation. For every day after this £5.00 will be added to the final bill. The deposit is non refundable. 2. Financial settlement of the final balance to take place at the event before the performance commences. If paying by cheque,payment should be made at least 14 days before the event. All cheques to be made payable to dsn Entertainment. 3. In the unlikely event of dsn Entertainment failing to attend the event the client will not be expected to pay the balance and in this event only will the deposit be refunded. 4. Should dsn Entertainment's performance be temporarily delayed by late arriving guests for example,the full fee is still expected to be paid. 5. Should additional performance time be required and is operationally viable an extra £45.00 per hour will be charged.this will need to be verbally agreed by dsn Entertainment and the client before any extra performance is given.Payment will be due before the additional performance commences. 6. The booking form is proof of verbal or electronic agreement and shall include any other conditions agreed before issuing. Any alterations must be made by the client or dsn Entertainment and must be agreed by both parties. 7. If the event has to be cancelled 7 days prior to the event, then a cancellation fee would not be charged but any deposit received will not be returned (see clause 1). If an event is cancelled less than 7 days prior to the event a £50.00 cancellation fee would be charged.In the event of any cancellation dsn Entertainment should be informed immediately. 8. Should there be a power failure upon arrival of dsn Entertainment at the venue 50% of the final fee is to be paid. Should a power failure occur at any point after the performance has commenced the full remaining fee is to be paid.Should equipment failure occur during the event, no fee is to be paid by the client. However dsn Entertainment have back up equipment available. 9. The event may be rescheduled to an alternative date if necessary for no extra charge, provided dsn Entertainment are available. 10. The clients will alow suitable time for setting up (normally 1 hour maximum) and dismantling and removal of equipment ( 1 hour maximum). The client will ensure that safe and adequate power is available( at least 2x 13amp sockets). dsn Entertainment will provide equipment that is electronically safe. 11. dsn Entertainment will conduct themselves in a proper and professional manner at all times and will respond to the clients reasonable requests such as volume level. 12. The client will ensure suitable supervision of its guests and assistants at the venue. dsn Entertainment will not be held responsible for any unforseen damage to the clients facilities caused by disco equipment. However any accident that could have been prevented will be financed by dsn Entertainment to recover any loss 13. dsn Entertainment will not tolerate any aggressive behaviour and reserve the right to withdraw their services if they feel that there may be a risk to their personal safety. In this event no refund will be due to the client. * all our equipment is less than 12 months old and therefore not subject to PAT testing. (applicable to July 2008) * we have public liability insurance to the sum of 2 million pounds. * We may use a smoke machine. Please specify if you or your venue would prefer to use this effect. Smoke machines can affect people with asthma and other similar illnesses. *we do not use strobe lighting |
